Terms of Sale
The terms every order is placed under, from the written quote to the invoice. They are short because the process is short: quote, proof, approval, print, deliver.
Quotes and proofs
Every order is quoted in writing by email, with the sheet size, stock, ink colors, quantity, per-case and per-sheet figures and free US delivery shown. The quote is valid for the period stated on it; paper costs move, so an older quote is reissued rather than honored blindly.
A free PDF proof accompanies the quote. The proof is the complete description of what will be printed: artwork, size, position, repeat spacing, ink colors and the stock they are matched on. Changes to the proof are free. An order is confirmed only when you approve both the proof and the quote in writing.
Minimum order and quantities
Each product print run is at least 1,000 sheets. Products in different sizes or stocks are separate runs, each with its own minimum. Sheets are counted into cases; small variations in count are normal in sheeting and are not a shortfall unless the case labels and the packing note disagree with what arrived.
Plain, unprinted sheets are sold by the case at the same minimum.
Artwork and your responsibilities
You keep ownership of the artwork you send and you confirm that you have the right to print it. We keep a copy, together with plates and color references, to produce reorders. Redrawing a simple wordmark from a photo is included in the proof; the redrawn file is yours to keep.
By approving a proof you accept the spelling, layout and colors shown on it. Errors visible on the approved proof are not misprints.
Production and delivery
Production takes 4–6 business days from written proof approval. Delivery is free and tracked to any US address and usually takes 2–3 business days after dispatch. Delivery dates are estimates; if you have a fixed date, tell us before approving and we confirm on the quote whether it can be met.
We do not deliver outside the US and we do not offer collection.
Payment
Orders are paid by invoice after you approve the proof and the quote. The invoice matches the quote. Payment terms and the methods accepted are printed on the invoice; no payment is taken on the website and no card details are requested by it.
An unpaid invoice may hold a reorder until it is settled.
Cancellation, reprints and refunds
You may cancel by email before plates are made. After that the order is in production and cannot be canceled. Misprints, wrong sizes, wrong stocks or transit damage reported within 10 days of delivery with photos are reprinted or refunded as set out on the reprints and refunds page.
Our liability on any order is limited to the reprint or refund of that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and apply to every order placed with Deli Papers; if we change them, the new version is posted on this page and applies to orders placed after that.
Questions About Our Terms
The questions we answer most weeks. Pick a topic, open a row.
When does an order with Deli Papers become binding?
When you approve the proof and the quote in writing by email. Until then nothing is plated, printed or invoiced.
Does the minimum apply per product or per order?
Per product print run. Two products, or one product in two sizes, are two runs of at least 1,000 sheets each.
How and when is the invoice paid?
By invoice after approval, on the terms printed on it. No payment is taken on the website.
Up to what point can I cancel?
Until plates are made. Email us as soon as you decide and we confirm where the job stands.
Who owns the artwork and the redrawn logo?
You do. We keep a copy, with plates and color references, to print reorders, and we delete it on request.
What happens if my quote has expired?
Ask for a new one. Paper costs change, so we reissue the quote rather than guess.
Are sheet counts exact?
Cases are counted and labeled. Small variations are normal in sheeting; a real shortfall against the packing note is made up or credited.
Which law governs the terms?
The laws of the United States. The terms apply to every order placed with Deli Papers.
What if delivery runs late?
Tell us and we chase the carrier and keep you posted. Delivery dates are estimates, which is why fixed dates should be agreed on the quote.
Where are the reprint and refund rules written out?
On the reprints and refunds page, which these terms refer to. The short version: report within 10 days with photos.
