Reprints and Refunds
Printed sheets are made to your approved proof, so they cannot be resold or returned for a change of mind. Here is what we put right when an order is wrong or damaged, and how to report it.
What the 10-Day Policy Covers
- Print that does not match the approved proof in color, position, size or content.
- A sheet size or a paper stock that differs from what the written quote says.
- Cases damaged in transit, reported with photos of the packaging and the sheets inside.
- A case count short of the packing note after the case labels have been checked.
How to Report a Problem
- Email info@delipapers.com within 10 days of delivery, with your quote number in the subject line.
- Attach photos of the sheets showing the problem and, for transit damage, of the cases as they arrived.
- Say whether you would rather have a reprint or a refund of the affected cases.
- We reply within one business day with a reprint date or a refund confirmation.
Why printed sheets cannot be returned
Every run is printed to your approved proof with your artwork on it, so the sheets have no use to anyone else and cannot go back into stock. That is why the proof stage matters: it is the point where size, stock, color and layout are checked and signed off.
The policy on this page covers the cases where the delivered sheets do not match what you approved, or arrive damaged.
What happens after you report a problem
We reply within one business day. For a confirmed misprint, wrong size or wrong stock we offer a reprint on the normal production timeline or a refund of the affected cases, your choice. For transit damage we replace the damaged cases.
A reprint goes through the proof you already approved unless the problem was in the proof itself, in which case a corrected proof is sent first.
What the policy does not cover
A color that looks different from your screen when the printed sheet matches the Pantone reference on the proof. A layout you approved and later wish were larger or placed differently. Sheets used, cut or stored damp after delivery.
Reports made after 10 days, or without photos, are looked at case by case but are not covered by the policy.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the account that paid the invoice, for the affected cases, promptly after the decision. Where an invoice has not yet been paid, the refund is applied as a credit on it instead.
Reprints ship free, the same as the original order, and are tracked to the same address unless you tell us otherwise. The terms of sale set out the rest.
Questions About Reprints and Refunds
The questions we answer most weeks. Pick a topic, open a row.
Can I return printed deli paper I no longer need?
No. The sheets are printed to your approved proof and cannot be resold, which is why the proof is checked so carefully before press.
What counts as a misprint under the policy?
Print that differs from the approved proof in color, position, size or content, or a stock or sheet size that differs from the written quote.
How many days do I have to report damaged sheets?
10 days from the delivery date shown on the tracking page, with photos attached to the email.
Which photos do you need with a report?
A few of the sheets showing the problem and, for transit damage, the outside of the cases as they arrived. Phone photos are fine.
Do I get a reprint or a refund?
Your choice for a confirmed problem. A reprint ships within the normal production time; a refund covers the affected cases.
What if only two cases out of ten are damaged?
We replace the two. The rest of the order is yours to use and nothing needs sending back.
Who covers the cost of a reprint?
We do, including delivery, for a confirmed misprint or transit damage.
The printed color looks different from my screen. Is that a misprint?
Not if it matches the Pantone reference named on the proof. Screens vary; a printed sample or a swatch pack is the reliable check before you approve.
Can I cancel an order after approving the proof?
Before plates are made, yes, by email. Once plates are made the job is in production and cannot be canceled, though we will always say where it stands.
Where does the refund go?
To the account that paid the invoice. If the invoice is still open, the refund is applied as a credit on it.
