How to read the chart
Every size is the flat sheet in inches, width by length, before folding. Each product lists its four standard sizes; those are held in stock and quoted fastest. Custom is any other cut and is quoted on request from a sketch or a sample sheet.
Bags are listed by their opening width and depth, and cones by small, large and scoop cup rather than by inches.
Measure the food, not the old sheet
Lay the sandwich or burger on a counter and measure it across, then double that number and add a few inches for the fold. A sheet that only just closes will spring open on the walk to the table. That is why most burger counters land on 12 x 12 in. for a single or double and 12 x 15 in. once the subs get past six inches.
For a basket liner, measure the basket across the top and add enough to drape over the rim on two sides. For a tray, the sheet should cover the base with a margin and no more.
What size closes a footlong sub or a burrito?
15 x 15 in. for both. A footlong sub laid diagonally across a 15 x 15 in. sheet closes with the ends tucked, and a burrito rolled in the same sheet is sealed before it goes into foil or a bag. 12 x 15 in. works for a footlong if you roll it rather than fold it.
The guide comparing the three main sheet sizes goes through single burger, double, six-inch and footlong with photos.
Small sheets: patty, fry and bakery
Patty paper is 4.75 x 5, 5.5 x 5.5 or 6 x 6 in., sized to sit a little larger than the patty so the stack separates cleanly. Fry paper runs 6 x 6 to 10 x 10 in. depending on the cup or boat it lines. Cookie and pastry sheets at 6 x 6 in. are the same cut as the smallest fry paper, in a different stock.
Custom sizes
Any size can be cut and is quoted on request. Send the dimensions or a sample sheet with the quote form, and say what it wraps so we can check the size does the job. Custom sizes take the same 4–6 business days to print once the proof is approved.
Questions About Sheet Sizes
The questions we answer most weeks. Pick a topic, open a row.
Which size on the chart is ordered most often?
12 x 12 in. It closes a single or double burger, lines a standard basket and fits a hot dog, so it covers most counters with one run.
Can I ask for a size that is not on the chart?
Yes. Send the dimensions or a sample sheet and it is quoted on request, with the same production time as a standard size.
Are the chart sizes in inches and measured flat?
Yes. Width by length in inches, as the flat sheet before any fold.
Does a bigger sheet change the quote?
Yes. Larger sheets use more paper and more ink, so the per-sheet figure rises with size. The quote shows it.
What size on the chart wraps a six-inch sub?
12 x 12 in. folded, or 12 x 15 in. if the sub is loaded. Footlongs move up to 15 x 15 in.
Which size lines a standard fry basket?
12 x 12 in. drapes over the rim of most oval and rectangular baskets. Use 12 x 15 in. for a large platter basket.
What sizes does patty paper come in?
4.75 x 5, 5.5 x 5.5 and 6 x 6 in., with custom cuts for larger patties.
Can one order include two sizes of the same product?
Yes, as two print runs, each of at least 1,000 sheets. Both use the same artwork and color match.
Do you cut sheets larger than 15 x 15 in.?
Ask. Most larger sizes can be quoted; send the dimensions and what the sheet is for.
How are bag sizes on the chart measured?
By the opening width and the depth of the bag, not as a flat sheet. Gusseted bags are measured the same way with the gusset closed.
